A pastry circle of dough stuffed with stewed dried figs, almonds, chocolate and cinnamon, these are the typical ingredients of the original sicilian buccellato, all genuine and exquisitely Sicilian, used by the factory of the master confectioners Nuccio Palermo, historic and renowned laboratory.
Buccellati are generally available in the form of a donut, as shown in the photos but there are also small buccellati.
