The Nebrodi black pig raw ham is an all-Sicilian specialty and is the flagship of a traditional production with farms controlled and protected by the consortium for the protection of the Nebrodi black pig, and Slow Food. With a slightly salty flavor, with a definite sweetness of the meats, combined with the aromas of the processing, the raw black pork ham is an extremely sought after product because it is the result of the breeding and indigenous processing of the Nebrodi Park, with unique and non-reproducible organoleptic characteristics in other parts of the world. Seasoning lasts from 20 to 24 months,
The sale of raw Nebrodi black pig ham is proposed as sliced, for 300/500/1000 grams, or in slices.
The whole shape ranges from 5 to 7 kg approx. And the weight may vary as it is a handmade product. For the whole thigh, we offer the possibility to buy it with bone or boneless. In the case of the whole thigh without the bone, the price varies significantly for the bone removal operation.
