Safe and Easy
The Nebrodi black pig salami is also called Fellata di nero suino and is the tasty result of a traditionally Sicilian process, which maintains coarse-grained butchered meats with a technique called "knife tip" to maintain taste and characteristics unaltered. The Nebrodi black pig is an indigenous local breed and lives freely in the Nebrodi mountains, feeding on the same natural food of the place, with very few human food interactions, even if in breeding. This, in essence, is the secret that makes Nebrodi black pork prized to such an extent that in the past it has also been awarded by Gamberorosso and praised at Vinitaly.
Despite the rustic nature of the salami itself, the Nebrodi black pig salami is a food of excellence that is tasted and presented on occasions of great importance, to give diners a unique and unforgettable experience. Excellent for appetizers or happy hours with a prosecco, or accompanied by a full-bodied red Nero d'Avola wine, the black pig salami from Nebrodi combines with great success with every food circumstance, whether lunches, dinners, snacks, overtime, appetizers or outdoor picnic.
