Always grown and harvested in the Fitalia area, in the Sicilian Nebrodi, sliced chillies are more appreciated as a dish, rather than an ingredient, to be enjoyed with fresh bread or toasted croutons with extra virgin olive oil. The flavor of the sliced chillies is more intense than the smaller cut, and since this type is not spicy green, it is suitable to be enjoyed on its own, together with a good cold white wine.
